Rivendell College students are invited to live in residential communities in former fraternities and sororities managed by Rivendell's parent organization, Centers for Christian Study International (CCSI). CCSI has developed several student communities adjacent to the campuses of the University of Colorado and Colorado State University. Rivendell students live side-by-side with university students in this unique partnership between Rivendell and CCSI. Rivendell students at the Affiliate Study Center in Greeley, Colorado are encouraged to live in community groups in apartments and houses in off-campus student housing surrounding the University of Northern Colorado.

CCSI Student Housing Mission and Community Covenant
The student housing division of Centers for Christian Study International (CCSI) seeks to provide high quality residential communities, programs, and services for college and university students, which includes:
- Offering a welcoming residential community for students who are interested in exploring faith in the context of their collegiate experience.
- Creating a flourishing center of exchange in which a Christian vision of life is discussed, debated and explored in the context of other viewpoints in the contemporary academy.
- Creating a safe environment in which residents can explore faith issues in lively discussion, yet without pressure or intimidation.
- Developing healthy community commitments in which residents share life together, including house meetings and responsibilities shared by all.
- Offering those who wish, opportunities for Bible study, worship, prayer, fellowship, and service.
CCSI residential facilities are co-ed student communities, with each gender separated by floors or wings. Floors and wings include gender-specific bathrooms, and a Resident Assistant (RA) who monitors activities in his or her area. Residents who have members of the opposite sex in their rooms within curfew boundaries are required to leave the door fully open. In-house curfews (11:00 PM) restrict access to opposite-gendered floors or wings during nighttime hours. All residents are required to sign the following covenant, violation of which may result in termination of their lease agreement: As members of a CCSI residential community, we will seek to maintain high standards of integrity in all areas of life. We will treat others with dignity and respect, and respond to those who differ with us with civility and consideration. We will seek to live an exemplary life and cultivate habits of moral excellence. We will refrain from explicit immodesty, use of pornography, all sexual relations outside the bounds of marriage, illegal or immoderate consumption of any alcoholic beverage, on-campus use or storage of such beverages, any use of an illegal drug, or on-campus storage thereof, and any illegal use of a non-prescription or prescription drug.
